Getting started
- On Mac — install Dragbox, sign in, and hit Record or Screenshot from the menu bar. After you stop, wait for the upload and link creation to finish before sharing. Mac and iPhone store releases are being prepared; the web app is available now.
- On iPhone — install Dragbox, sign in, and upload files or photos to your vault. Tap any item to create a share link.
- On the web — sign in at dragbox.io to browse your files, manage share links, and control your account.

What's free?
Everything you need to record, store, and share: the Mac app, the iPhone app, and 1 GiB of hosted Dragbox Cloud storage. Verified accounts can upload ordinary files up to 50 MiB each; daily and verification limits also apply. Hosted Mac recordings use the 720p profile with a three-minute maximum.
What is "bring your own bucket"?
The optional paid plan (managed here on the web) lets you connect your own S3, R2, or B2 bucket. Your files then upload straight to storage you own. Your provider's limits and storage/traffic charges apply; the app does not promise unlimited transfers. Account deletion or a plan lapse does not remove those bucket files.
How long do share links last?
You choose an expiry when creating a link (up to 7 days), and you can revoke any link early from the web app. Expired or revoked share pages stop granting new access. A recipient may already have downloaded the file or obtained a short-lived download URL.
Can I use Dragbox on both Mac and iPhone?
Yes — sign in with the same account, or use the pair-with-Mac QR flow in the iPhone app. Both clients access the same account and storage while online. This is not Finder folder synchronization or automatic iPhone photo backup.
Can I redact a screenshot before it uploads?
The current Mac capture flow uploads the original screenshot first. Annotation happens afterwards. Saving an edited Dragbox Cloud screenshot creates a new copy and link; the original is retained. Keep sensitive content out of the initial capture.

How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account, in the web, Mac, or iPhone app. Access and public share links stop immediately. Use the recovery email within 30 days if you change your mind. After 30 days, Dragbox-hosted files and account data are permanently deleted; storage cleanup is retried if necessary. Files in your own bucket are preserved. You do not need to unlock your credential vault to request deletion.
