Connect any S3, R2, Backblaze, or MinIO bucket. Sync from Finder. Share a 1 TB file with one link — no 100 GB cap like Dropbox. You own every byte forever.
Or use the web app — works in any modern browser.

Native sync, Loom-style shares, and your files following you to every device. None of it depends on us being online to keep working.
Native Apple File Provider. Drag a file into the Dragbox folder on your Mac — it lands in your S3 / R2 / B2 / MinIO bucket. On-demand download means a 5 TB bucket weighs nothing on your laptop until you open a file.

Drop in: /public/marketing/feature-sync.mp4 · ~5s
Right-click any file → Share. We mint a 7-day signed URL on the spot and wrap it in a cinematic dark share page. Visitors get a Loom-quality player without an account — you stay in control of the bytes.

Pair once — the encrypted vault syncs through Dragbox without ever decrypting on our servers. Open the same bucket in the Mac app, push photos from the iPhone, browse from any browser.

Drag the sliders. We crunch storage AND transfer on Dropbox vs your own bucket, live.
Maximum single file you can share
A 1 TB video. A folder of 500 GB raw photos. Dropbox can't send either — every plan caps at 100 GB. Dragbox streams the file straight from your bucket via a 7-day presigned URL, no upper limit.

Dragbox + Backblaze B2

Storage is cheap. Beautiful UX on top of it is the missing piece.
5 TB of raw footage on Backblaze B2 costs $30/mo. Dropbox doesn't even sell a plan that big.
Send a mockup like a Loom share — your client gets a beautiful viewer, no account, no app.
Team folders without per-seat fees. Invite teammates by email; their access is governed by the relay daemon on the owner's Mac.
Already have an S3 bucket? Paste your endpoint + keys. Dragbox sits on top of what you already pay for.
The whole point of "you own your files" is that we can't accidentally lose them, leak them, or hold them hostage.
Mac, iPhone, and web sign S3 requests locally and talk to your bucket directly. Dragbox is never on the data path.
Bucket credentials live in macOS Keychain + an IndexedDB vault wrapped by a passphrase. We hold ciphertext only.
Cancel the account, your files stay exactly where they were — in the bucket you've always controlled.
No. If you can copy-paste an access key from your storage provider's console once, you're done. The CORS Wizard generates the exact JSON to paste. After that it's just a folder in Finder.
No. File bytes never traverse Dragbox's infrastructure. Your Mac signs requests directly to your bucket; the web app does the same in your browser. Our backend stores only encrypted credential metadata and share-link records.
Yes. Any S3-compatible bucket — AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, MinIO — works as-is. Dragbox does not touch existing file structures.
Your files stay in your bucket. There's nothing to migrate — they were always yours. Cancellation just deletes the Dragbox account record.
Mac and iPhone/iPad ship first. Android and Windows are on the v2 roadmap; the web app already works in any modern browser as a stopgap.

Three things: (1) Dropbox Plus caps single-file transfers at 50 GB (Pro at 100 GB) — Dragbox has no cap because the file streams direct from your bucket. (2) Cloudflare R2 is $15 / TB stored with zero egress; Backblaze B2 is $6 / TB. Dragbox itself is $10 / year flat. (3) You own the bucket forever; cancel Dragbox and everything is exactly where it was.
Free during beta. Cancel any time — your bucket goes with you because it was always yours.
